Do not talk with patient about worldy affairs, business, rivalry or enemity
matters of affection and your own sorrow or anxiety. |

Describe about forms, play and essence of God. Recite shri Mad Bhagwat
Gita particularly 7th, 9th, 12th, 14th, 15th chapters and meaning of important slokas.
Eleventh chapter of Bhagwat, Asceticism subject from Yogvashishth, important
topics of Upanishad may be told to him. Try to find his interest, then narrate this.
If he is interested in chanting any God's name or chanting the poems of great
saints, recite with him. |

If he is lover of idol worship of any God like Vishnu, Ram, Krishna, Shiv, Durga Maa, Ganesh. Show him the idol or the photograph of the same. If he is a
worshipper of formless absolute God then describe about soul, Brahma and eternal peerless God. |

That place should all the time be fragrant with dhoop, camphor, ghee or essence or show the ghee lamp's flicker. |
| 5. |
If he is capable and interested then get the worship done of his own Lord. |
| 6. |
Do not give any impure things or medicine. Do not give any medicine allopathic or homeopathic or made from alcohol even if advised by doctor. Any Ayurvedic
medicine if contains impure or produced out of living things should not be given. Even in food containing any impure indictive substances should not be given. Keep
on giving Ganges water depending on his acceptance. If possible the Ganges water may be mixed with juice of Tulasi leaves. |

If possible wear him a rosary of 'Rudraksha' or 'Tulasi'. Put marks of Shivas' three lines or rising mark on forehead by pure Sandal paste. Do not put mark by
impure saffron. |

Recite 'Ramraksha Stotra' or mritunjaya stotra near the patient. At the final moments sound of pure Narayan name be made. |

If the patient is not in pain, give him a pure Ganges water bath. Do not give bath if he is in pain. |

Bring him down on the earth after cleaning the floor with Ganges water and writing God's name. If posiible the dust from Ganges or from Brij be put on floor
before putting the patient. |

At the time of death or even after the death uproar of the name of Narayan or Lord be sounded. No one should cry till the body is taken away. |
| 12. |
The legs of the dead body should be towards South. Then give bath with
pure water, wear new clothes, and take the body for cremation as per individual
tradition. Pinddaan or offering to the dead must be made by knowledgeable priest.
At the cremation ground the pinddaan and fire ceremony be done as per scriptures.
Throughout the journey recite "Ram nam satya hai, Hari bol, Narayan-Narayan". At the cremation ground discussion should be about God... |
